Productivity and Cycle Time Improvement Through Lithography Scanner Alignment Reject Reduction
Project ObjectiveThis project aims to improve the scanner alignment reject rate by analyzing collecting and analyzing alignment signals and optimizing the alignment strategy to improve the reject performance.
Project DescriptionThis project aims to scope out the key processes which are facing chronic scanner alignment reject and to collect and analyze alignment signals using alignment analyzer software to identify the key weaknesses in the current strategy and develop/optimize the alignment strategy to improve the alignment reject rate, thus improving the equipment productivity and product cycle time.
Key Milestones- Scope out the high hit rate technology and process (4 weeks)
- Collect alignment signals and analyze (4 weeks)
- Develop/Optimize new alignment strategy to improve reject rate (6 weeks)
- Implement and monitor new strategy reject performance (6 weeks)
Intern:
- Learn and understand the Lithography process and scanner alignment signals
- Learn how to analyze alignment signals and optimize the alignment strategy
- Project management, collaborative work, presentation skills.
Company:
- Resolve a chronic issue within the Lithography process
- Improve equipment productivity and product cycle time
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR any related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship
Preferred QualificationsGood communication skills and ability to work well in a team
* This application is for students undertaking a 20-24 week credit-bearing internship from June 2026 onwards.
