Steady Stead Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based lifting operations support company specialising in lift planning, engineering documentation, and competent lifting crew deployment for crane operations. We work alongside crane companies, contractors, logistics providers, and project teams to support safe and efficient lifting operations across construction, infrastructure, industrial, and facility management projects.
Steady Stead Pte Ltd is looking for a motivated Engineering Intern to assist in preparing lifting plans and technical documentation for crane operations. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to lift planning, rigging arrangements, crane operations, and engineering documentation used in real construction and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing lifting plan drawings using AutoCAD
- Draft rigging arrangement layouts and lifting diagrams
- Support preparation of method statements and risk assessments
- Assist in preparing rigging calculation tables and lifting documentation
- Update drawings based on lifting requirements and site constraints
- Organise and compile documentation for project submissions
- Assist with site survey preparation and lifting feasibility studies
- Provide general engineering support to the lifting planning team
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Engineering related field
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Interest in construction, crane operations, or lifting engineering
- Responsible, detail‑oriented, and willing to learn
- Lift planning and crane operations
