As a Regional Water Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating the water treatment plants serving Vauxhall and Bow Island. You will apply your Level II Operator Certificate to maintain optimal performance and safety standards while adhering to regulatory requirements. Your expertise and judgment will directly impact water quality for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance and operations on treatment plants

• Monitor chemical feed rates and water quality parameters

• Provide recommendations for operational improvements

• Handle hazardous materials following safety protocols

• Complete necessary reporting for regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent

• Level II Operator Certificate in Water Treatment

• Level I Operator Certificate in Water Distribution

• Valid Class 5 Operator's License

• Strong computer proficiency
