As part of WSP’s Prairies & North division, the Hydraulic Structures Engineer will be based in either Lethbridge or Calgary. This senior position focuses on employing solid structural fundamentals to develop and assess critical hydraulic infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with experienced engineers and technical teams, ensuring effective and resilient designs that cater to local conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate hydraulic infrastructure projects

• Perform reinforced concrete and structural steel calculations

• Assist in the assessment of loads impacting structures

• Contribute to technical reports in multidisciplinary settings

• Interpret geotechnical findings for project applications

Requirements:

• Strong structural engineering foundation essential

• Proficiency with structural design software and tools

• Knowledge of hydraulic structures beneficial

• Registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA required

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
