In this critical role, the Regional Water Plant Operator oversees operations at Level 2 Water Treatment Plants. You will maintain compliance with Alberta environmental standards, monitor water quality, and ensure efficient system flow rates. Your expertise will contribute significantly to public health by delivering potable water to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the water treatment plants

• Schedule and conduct maintenance on filter membranes

• Monitor water quality and system performance

• Recommend efficiency improvements to management

• Compile and submit detailed operational reports

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion or equivalent

• Level II Operator Certificate in Water Treatment

• Level I Operator Certificate in Water Distribution

• Valid Class 5 Operator's License

• Proficient in computer operations
