Position: Technical Support Specialist for MineStar
Join Caterpillar as a Technical Support Specialist focusing on Mine Star systems at the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario. Engage in hands-on problem-solving for autonomous haulage machines.

This Mine Star Onboard Specialist-1 position involves direct collaboration with engineering teams to fine-tune system performance and enhance safety and productivity in mining operations. Your field expertise will drive successful system adoption while mentoring customer personnel. Work within a structured onboarding framework, including both classroom and field training to ensure success in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support onboard hardware health for the Mine Star fleet

• Oversee machine/system integration for high performance

• Document and troubleshoot field issues with partners

• Validate data for root-cause analysis of faults

• Present technical findings to operations stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience in troubleshooting large mining equipment

• Strong background in electronic systems and diagnostics

• Excellent communication skills within a multi-team environment

• Degree or technical training in relevant engineering fields

• Familiarity with Cat Mine Star systems is a plus
