Engineering Controls Designer

Position: Engineering Controls Designer Role
Become a pivotal engineering figure at GDI Ainsworth as a Controls Designer. Work collaboratively to drive projects and ensure effective HVAC implementations.
As part of a dynamic team, you'll design and develop control systems while participating in project turnover meetings with sales and management. You will utilize Ainsworth engineering tools, select appropriate materials, and ensure all systems are tested and compliant. High customer satisfaction and thorough documentation will be key aspects of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design network layouts according to customer standards

• Participate in project turnover and gather engineering information

• Test all programming to ensure system performance

• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders

• Assist Project Manager in documentation and project closeouts
Requirements:

• Engineering degree or relevant technical diploma preferred

• Strong knowledge of HVAC Control Systems

• Familiarity with project management and consulting

• Capable of managing multiple projects efficiently

• Understanding of building and electrical codes
