CAD Automation and EDA Tools Specialist

Drive CAD automation success as a CAD Automation / EDA Tools Engineer in support of MILE and Quantum teams. Focus on maintaining and optimizing analog design workflows.

In this critical role, you will work with design and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and improve tool efficiency. Your work will involve developing scripts and enhancing automation processes to create reliable, scalable environments for mixed-signal design teams. Your experience with EDA tools and Linux will be pivotal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug scripts for CAD tool workflows

• Maintain and optimize automation flows in analog design

• Troubleshoot across EDA tools and multiple scripting languages

• Support tool efficiency in Linux-based environments

• Collaborate with design teams for scalable solutions

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Linux operating systems

• Proven skills in writing and debugging Python scripts

• Understanding of Tcl, Perl, and Ruby scripting languages

• Experience with EDA tools like Cadence and Synopsys

• Background in semiconductor or VLSI design environments
