Senior Substation Engineer in Alberta

In this full-time role, you will utilize your extensive experience in high-voltage substations, ensuring efficient project planning and execution within the Power team r responsibilities will include conducting key engineering studies, mentoring junior engineers, and preparing technical documentation for construction and commissioning projects. Your expertise will help solve complex technical issues while promoting clean energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute power flow and grounding studies

• Design switchyard layouts and cable routing

• Create technical specifications for major equipment

• Support commissioning and construction efforts

• Verify installations through site visits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems focus

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in engineering design

• P.Eng license required

• Knowledge of engineering software such as ETAP

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
