Position: Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at MacLean Engineering
Engage in hands-on learning as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op with Mac Lean Engineering in Collingwood, ON. Focus on enhancing production and engineering processes while contributing to heavy mobile mining equipment design.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op, you will support problem solving and root cause analysis while collaborating with production teams.

This role offers a comprehensive opportunity to apply your education in mechanical, electrical, or industrial disciplines and advance your skills in a practical setting. You'll also gain insights into product and process development and relationships with vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Add manufacturing details to designs using Solid Works

• Design jigs and fixtures coordinating production releases

• Create SOPs to standardize processes and documentation

• Respond to non-conformances and manage corrective actions

• Identify and implement process improvement projects

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering Technician program

• Trade experience in machining or welding preferred

• Familiarity with quality and manufacturing engineering

• Strong knowledge of Solid Works and Microsoft Office

• Capacity for independent problem-solving and communication
