Position: Traffic Signal Engineer at City

Seeking a dedicated Traffic Signal & Lighting Engineer to support intersection and roadway projects in Lethbridge. Your expertise with traffic engineering principles, analysis, and design will drive improvements in public safety. This position involves coordination with internal and external stakeholders, utilizing data to enhance traffic signal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review traffic studies and design submissions

• Conduct safety analysis and develop upgrade solutions

• Manage lighting and traffic engineering projects

• Communicate effectively with public and agencies

• Analyze traffic data to inform design choices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Transportation Engineering

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta

• Minimum five years in traffic engineering analysis

• Proficient with Microsoft and traffic signal software

• Experience with project management in traffic or lighting
