Intermediate Electrical Engineer

In this role, you will support the Building Services team by leading electrical engineering design efforts for various facilities. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed design documents, modeling electrical power systems using tools like SKM, and conducting site assessments. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and assist with project planning and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design for commercial and industrial facilities

• Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and specifications

• Model systems up to 750V using SKM software

• Conduct site assessments and compliance reviews

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

• Registration with APEGA or ASET required

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM preferred

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical and National Building Codes
