Reports To

Slot Shift Manager

Summary

Reporting to the Slot Shift Manager the Slot Cashier/Slot Attendant will ensure they promote utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service. The Slot Cashier will be required to administer/ exchange currency or redemption of TITO tickets. Responsibility of maintaining assigned areas in Slot Cage/Guest Services. The schedule for this position may vary and require the ability to work shift work, late nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Slot Attendants are some of our most valuable front line people and assist our slots customers in many ways. This position requires an individual who has strong interpersonal communication skills, is energetic, and a team player willing to learn new skills.

  • Adhere to all the established policies and procedures for effective and secure cash flow
  • Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service
  • Responsible for the redemption of all TITO tickets as well as balancing them at the end of each shift
  • Responsible for assigned cash float, reconciliation of corresponding paperwork, and balancing currency at cash out
  • Identify and report counterfeit bills
  • Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
  • Support and communicate with all associates within the casino gaming floor
  • Responsible for the daily execution of operational goals and objectives
  • Actively promote the Players Card Club
  • Computer data entry of cash transactions, IVS Tito program, VLT’S
  • Actively communicates inefficiencies
  • Maintains housekeeping of workstation and surrounding areas
  • Uphold a team work appearance offering assistance where available or when requested
  • Pleasant phone etiquette
  • Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset
  • Actively promote and sign up guests in the Casino’s Players Club
  • Is flexible and willing to perform duties as workload necessitates
  • Able to stand for long periods at a time
  • Maintain a AGLC gaming workers license
  • Administer hand pay jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance including diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket games, and game diagnostics
  • Balance assigned daily cash float
  • Identify and report counterfeit bills
  • Responsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with AGLC terms and conditions
  • Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
  • Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floor
  • Execute daily assigned operational goals and objectives
  • Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for guests
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset
  • Uphold a teamwork appearance helping where available or when requested
  • Any other duties as required
  • Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Able to maintain security clearance
  • Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Have reliable means of transportation
  • The schedule for this position may vary and require the ability to work shift work, late nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques

  • Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment
