We’re seeking a dynamic Personal Banking Advisor to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients, especially those with higher net worth.
Additional Information- This is a temporary 12‑month opportunity.
- The role is based out of the Coaldale branch but may involve travel to neighbouring branches.
- Be a Trusted Financial Partner: Offer customized guidance and solutions to high‑net‑worth clients, proactively interacting to ascertain their financial objectives and risk appetite.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Cultivate strong client relationships through consistent communication, follow‑ups, and proactive outreach; expand your client base and deepen existing connections.
- Drive Sales with Expertise: Guide clients toward the right savings, investment, and lending products for short‑ and long‑term goals, including registered and non‑registered investments, credit cards, mortgages, and HELOCs.
- Connect and Collaborate: Demonstrate critical thinking to address complex client needs and collaborate with internal partners.
- Champion Digital Innovation: Be a subject‑matter expert in ATB’s digital and omnichannel adoption, promoting digital tools and educating clients.
- Be a Community Ambassador: Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, invest in community involvement, and represent ATB in the market.
- Act with Integrity: Ensure data privacy and security, and optimize risk and compliance management by adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Achieve Success: Achieve personal sales targets and build a strong sales pipeline to contribute to the branch, market, and overall business.
Who You Are: You forge meaningful connections with clients, personalize your understanding of their needs, and offer thoughtful guidance to build their financial confidence. You thrive in collaborative environments, embrace new technologies, and are committed to continuous learning.
- 3–5 years of experience identifying and converting a sales pipeline, delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Relevant experience in retail banking or a similar field.
- Completion of CSI Personal Financial Services Advice (PFSA).
- Comprehensive understanding of a diverse range of lending products, including residential mortgages, personal loans, credit card offerings, and lending solutions.
- Post‑secondary degree/diploma in finance, business administration, or relevant work experience.
