Financial Analyst

Financial analysts build and maintain relationships with frontline managers to assist in the preparation, analysis and maintenance of financial, budget, statistical transactions and reports.

They are also responsible for analyzing variances and identifying their causes and potential solutions to ensure prudent use of fiscal resources.

Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Assist in the preparation, analysis and maintenance of financial, budget, statistical transactions and reports, such as: month and year-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, budget monitoring, maintenance of hierarchies (e.g., account reporting relationships, signing authority)
• Analyze variances, identify their causes, and propose potential solutions

• Help ensure the prudent use of fiscal resources
• Uphold the organizational value of accountability
• Help the organization meet its legal requirements for taxes, reporting, etc.
• Guide decisions and inform initiatives that enable a high quality, accessible, and sustainable healthcare system
• Work with a designated client base and have a high degree of independence
• Work primarily in corporate offices; however, some travel may be required depending on the requirements of the job
