Finance Clerk Position in Taber

Location: Taber

Become a critical part of the Municipal District of Taber as a Finance Clerk for a three-month term from November 2026. Engage in essential accounting duties and customer service while handling financial transactions and records.

In this temporary in-office role, you will report to the Manager of Finance. Key responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, managing cash receipts, and performing monthly reconciliations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with financial transactions and inquiries

• Balance daily cash receipts and manage deposits

• Process accounts payable and ensure approvals

• Generate invoices and maintain financial records

• Support the Manager of Finance as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Experience in accounting or business administration preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quick Books

• Strong multi-tasking and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
