Qualifications

Must be a Canadian citizen or possess landed‑immigrant or permanent‑resident status.

Must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s licence with no more than five demerits.

Must pass the vision and hearing tests.

Must not have any unpardoned criminal convictions or ongoing investigations.

Must have a valid APCAT exam result issued within the past five years. (APCAT registration: )

Successful candidate(s) are selected and offered the position.

Training & Consent
The successful candidate must consent to a police security clearance, including completion of a personal disclosure form, criminal and police records check, reference checks and polygraph verification. Training details are available on request.
