Position: Community Peace Officer Sergeant Leadership Role
Assume a vital leadership position as Community Peace Officer Sergeant in Lethbridge. This role focuses on supervising officers, ensuring compliance, and guiding community safety programs.

As a full-time, permanent Community Peace Officer Sergeant, you will oversee the Community Peace Officer Program, ensuring adherence to legislative standards and operational policies. In this leadership role, you will mentor officers, manage performance, and coordinate training programs while maintaining a budget and compliance with Alberta regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor Community Peace Officers daily

• Review and approve important reports and documentation

• Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations

• Oversee budget and administrative functions

• Operate the Judicial Interim Release Office

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum five years as a Community Peace Officer

• Strong supervisory experience required

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification

Lead the Community Peace Officer Program with expertise in law enforcement and community engagement.
