As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will play a crucial role in the Patient Service Centre, providing high-quality laboratory services to clients. You’ll be responsible for processing specimens, conducting lab tests, and reporting results accurately. Your contribution ensures that physicians receive the data they need to support patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute venipuncture and ECG procedures on all patients

• Follow established lab processes for specimen handling

• Monitor and optimize patient wait times for improved service

• Process and accurately record results of lab tests

• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program

• Previous experience in phlebotomy and certification in ECG

• At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience preferred

• Recommended: 6 months of Patient Service Centre experience

• Strong dedication to patient service and accuracy
