Join Extendicare as a Dietary Aide and support our residents' dietary needs in Lethbridge, Alberta. Commit to quality food service and meal support across shifts.

Extendicare is looking for a Dietary Aide to work part-time at our facility in Lethbridge. In this position, you will serve meals according to residents’ needs, assist cooks in food preparation, and maintain food safety and kitchen cleanliness. You'll also participate in staff training and follow departmental procedures to ensure high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve meals according to individual dietary preferences

• Prepare basic food items and assist with kitchen tasks

• Operate and clean kitchen equipment as required

• Ensure proper food storage and labeling protocols

• Attend in-service education programs as needed

Requirements:

• Understanding of basic English instructions

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Knowledge of kitchen safety practices

• Comfort with moderate to heavy lifting

• Open availability during days, evenings, and weekends
