Position: Part-Time Registered Dietitian at Extendicare
Location: Fort Macleod

As a key member of Extendicare's care team, you will evaluate residents' nutrition needs, develop personalized nutrition plans, and provide essential education to caregivers. Your expertise will be vital in monitoring at-risk residents and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess nutrition status for newly admitted and existing residents

• Develop and adjust nutrition care plans regularly

• Document all nutrition interventions and follow-ups

• Educate residents and families on dietary health

• Collaborate with healthcare teams on resident care

Requirements:

• Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited university

• 1-2 years experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, or long-term care

• Current registration with provincial College of Dietitians

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
