Occupational Therapist II

Join the Audiology and Children’s Allied Health program at the Melcor Centre in Lethbridge as an Occupational Therapist II. This essential role focuses on pediatric care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for ages birth to 18 years.

As an Occupational Therapist II, you will coordinate occupational therapy services and provide leadership within the interdisciplinary team. You will independently manage patient assessments, interventions, and follow-ups, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills. New graduates are welcomed and will receive support throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise clinical services within your program

• Provide leadership to healthcare professionals in patient care

• Make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient needs

• Ensure evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance

• Assist in program development and operational planning

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists

• Strong time management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience in community pediatrics is preferred
