Lethbridge Health Care Aide Position

Join Optima Living as a Health Care Aide in Lethbridge, Alberta, where you’ll assist residents with daily living needs while promoting dignity and independence. Provide much-needed support tailored to each individual's requirements.

As part of a compassionate care team, you will collaborate closely with Registered Nurses and Practical Nurses to ensure residents receive exceptional support and attention.

Your role encompasses personal care, medication administration, and promoting resident participation in meaningful activities underpinned by a commitment to person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents during personal care routines and activities

• Document care and changes, liaising with nursing staff

• Assist with laundry and light housekeeping as required

• Promote safe and dignified mobility and transfers

• Report incidents and maintain care standards

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program

• Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta

• Valid CPR and First Aid certification

• Proven teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to independently resolve challenging situations
