Certified Medical Device Reprocessing Technician

In this position, you'll focus on the decontamination, reassembly, and sterilization of surgical tools and hospital supplies. Utilizing aseptic techniques and Universal Precautions, you'll minimize the risk of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). Additionally, you'll be responsible for equipment functionality checks, perform quality assurance tests, and report issues to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and supplies

• Ensure equipment is in proper working condition

• Perform biological and chemical testing for quality assurance

• Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infections

• Report issues to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Accredited Medical Device Reprocessing program completion

• Certification from HSPA or CSA required

• Strong attention to detail
