Location: Lethbridge, Raymond, and Magrath
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: The hours for this casual position will be varied and may include days, evenings, and weekends. Employees must be available to work a minimum of two shifts per month, as required.
Classification: CDSW
Summary: Providing supports to individuals with disabilities. Assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, community inclusion, personal hygiene, personal care, medically complex needs, behavioral support.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
- A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
- Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.
- Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.
- $19.75 - $24.27 This is dependent on education.
