Pharmacist Position

Care Rx is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pharmacist based in Lethbridge, focused on enhancing senior pharmaceutical care. Drive change and improve health outcomes for our patients every day.

This role at Care Rx involves ensuring all prescriptions are dispensed accurately under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will engage with both pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals, addressing unique patient medication needs and facilitating exceptional service within long-term care settings. Your presence will ensure clinical appropriateness in medication management, contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in compliance with policies

• Consult on daily operational issues with pharmacy management

• Provide exceptional patient care at Care Rx pharmacy

• Conduct thorough medication reviews with documentation

• Prepare for and assist training efforts for new pharmacy staff

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy license with ACP

• Excellent organizational planning and time management skills

• Critical thinking and prioritization abilities

• Familiarity with Kroll Windows software preferred

• Prior long-term care experience is a plus
