Personal Care Aide at AgeCare

Contribute to the well-being of residents as a Personal Care Aide with Age Care. This position involves assisting with personal hygiene, meal support, and mobility in a caring community.

Age Care seeks a dedicated Personal Care Aide to promote comfort and dignity for residents. The role requires assisting residents with bathing, feeding, and mobility, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment. You will engage with residents during activities and ensure they enjoy a meaningful daily experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene care per NCP guidelines

• Assist residents with transfers and mobility using lifts

• Feed and support residents during meals and snacks

• Deliver routine treatments under Nurse supervision

• Accompany residents to activities and appointments

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in continuing care

• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide course

• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

• Active registration with CLHA

• Post-secondary education is an asset
