Position: Medical Laboratory Assistant I
Join Alberta Precision Labs as a Medical Laboratory Assistant I at the Lethbridge Centre Village Mall. Deliver essential lab services including venipuncture and ECGs in a patient-focused environment.

This temporary part-time position focuses on providing high-quality service to patients. As the public face of APL, you will manage specimen handling, testing, reporting, and follow strict lab procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and ECGs for outpatients

• Handle, process, and dispatch laboratory specimens

• Conduct accurate testing and report results promptly

• Monitor wait times to enhance patient service

• Maintain a patient-oriented environment with respect

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program

• Previous phlebotomy experience required

• ECG Certification is essential

• At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience preferred

• Criminal record check necessary before employment
