IT Contract Management Specialist

Argentus is excited to be partnering with a major Financial Services / Professional Services organization to support a key hire within their technology-focused procurement team. This IT Contract Management Specialist role is a great opportunity for a procurement professional with strong operational experience to step into a dynamic role with cross-functional exposure across technology, legal, and vendor management teams.

Working remotely within Canada, this IT Contract Management Specialist will support procurement processes for a variety of key IT categories, including managing purchase orders and requisitions, supporting software license renewals, and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for ensuring procurement compliance, tracking performance metrics, managing documentation, and helping to streamline procurement systems and tools. The role also includes contributing to SOW drafting and negotiation, onboarding vendors, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings through procurement analytics.

You will work within the company’s fast-paced procurement environment to provide excellent service to stakeholders, delivering value through execution of effective procurement outcomes.

• Manage purchase orders and requisitions for IT categories.
• Support software license renewals and coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure procurement compliance and track performance metrics.
• Manage documentation and streamline procurement systems and tools.
• Contribute to SOW drafting and negotiation; onboard vendors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings through procurement analytics.
• Provide effective procurement execution and stakeholder service in a fast-paced environment.

• A strong track record of IT procurement experience within a Financial Services and/or Professional Services organization
• A solid grasp of ERP systems and software licensing models (SaaS, subscription, etc.)
• A background in contract and SOW negotiation, vendor coordination, and cross-functional procurement processes.
• A track record of success in procurement process improvement
• Strong communications skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
