We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Technology Client Support Services team which provides deskside support to AHS facilities in Southern Alberta. This deskside analyst position provides technical support for computing devices, printer devices, peripherals, desktop applications, mobility devices and other technology and applications, to a variety of users across the different departments. This position is predominately an onsite, hands‑on technical support role, but may also involve resolving issues and requests remotely.
There will also be opportunities to work with colleagues across Alberta on a more provincial scope. This position also investigates more complex technical problems for which existing precedent is not currently available and will sometimes involve escalating the issue to more senior staff or a specialized technical team for resolution. The successful candidate must be able to communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of clients.
Commitment to a high level of confidentiality and customer satisfaction is also key as you collaborate regularly with clients and other team members.
As an IT Customer Support II, you will provide advanced technical support to a variety of users across AHS for information technology issues in accordance with AHS standards and practices.

Completion of certificate in Computer Support or equivalent.
AdditionalRequired Qualifications
Class 5 driver's license.
Preferred QualificationsMinimum 2 years recent deskside experience. Proven customer service skills and experience in an organization of significant size and complexity are an asset. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a definite asset.
