Lethbridge Polytechnic is looking for a Lead, Scheduling & Student Systems who is curious, analytical, and motivated by solving problems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating complex issues, improving business processes, and working with people to make systems and services more effective.
Reporting to the Manager, Scheduling & Student Systems, you will provide day-to-day leadership for the Scheduling, Student Systems, and Student Communications teams while leading business process improvements that support students throughout their journey, from application to graduation. Working with colleagues across the institution, you will identify opportunities for improvement, research solutions, lead system enhancements, and help implement changes that improve both the staff and student experience.

• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the Scheduling, Student Systems, and Student Communications teams.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and the student experience.
• Investigate complex business and system issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Lead testing, implementation, documentation, and training related to new processes and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Information Technology Services and departments across the Polytechnic to deliver projects and improve enterprise systems.
• Support institutional systems for student services.
• Develop reports and use data to support decision making and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners while supporting projects that improve services across the institution.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve business processes through innovation.

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in a post-secondary setting.

• Experience working in a Registrar’s Office or student services environment within a post-secondary institution.
• Experience improving business processes or leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working with enterprise systems such as Student Information Systems (SIS), CRM platforms, reporting tools, scheduling systems, or similar technologies.
• Experience leading or supporting technology projects, system implementations, or organizational change.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research issues independently and develop practical solutions.
• The ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary AUPE Class Level 12 Step 2 $ 69,201.23 per annum. Working Here
