Parts Counter Sales

Select People Solutions is partnering with our client to recruit a customer-focused and detail-oriented Parts Counter Sales to support daily parts operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Hours:

The rate of pay will be $19–$22/hr, depending on experience

Full-time, temporary position

Position Summary:

Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries

Identify and recommend the correct parts based on customer needs

Prepare quotes, process orders, and complete sales transactions

Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory

Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts

Coordinate special orders and follow up on backordered items

Maintain accurate records using inventory and point-of-sale systems

Help keep the parts department clean, organized, and operating efficiently

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, parts, inventory, or warehouse operations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Bonus Points For:

Experience in an agricultural, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial parts environment

Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with equipment components

Experience with inventory management or ERP software
