Caretaker Position Polytechnic

The Caretaker role is a 40-hour per week temporary position from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. You will manage diverse cleaning responsibilities, including floor, carpet, and restroom care, while operating various cleaning equipment. This position requires teamwork and independent work skills to fulfill all custodial duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive floor and carpet care

• Maintain cleanliness in laboratories, classrooms, and offices

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

• Assist in furniture moving as needed

• Support overall upkeep of facilities

Requirements:

• Basic caretaking/janitorial knowledge and experience

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Physical capability to handle assigned duties

• Comfortable working at heights over 5 feet
