Caretaker

Hours per week/FTE: 40 hrs per week

The successful candidate will provide all aspects of caretaking including, but not limited to: floor care, carpet care, washroom care, operating all types of cleaning equipment, laboratory, classroom and office cleaning, and furniture moving.

• Basic knowledge and experience in all aspects of caretaking/janitorial work
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Physically capable to handle job duties as assigned
• Comfortable working at height over 5 feet
• Comfortable to be trained to run caretaking equipment as needed

• Cleaning experience in a post-secondary education, hospital or the hospitality industry

AUPE Class Level 2, Step 2 at $19.80 per hour
