Evening Caretaker School

Become an Evening Caretaker with Lethbridge School Division, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe school environment. This role requires strong communication with students and staff while performing essential cleaning duties.

In this evening shift position, you will report to the Head Caretaker and handle various responsibilities, including cleaning, minor adjustments, and security tasks. Flexibility is essential, as you'll work both evening and day shifts during non-instructional periods. Candidates should be capable of managing physical demands, including lifting and moving furniture as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean washrooms and common areas thoroughly

• Dust and maintain cleanliness across all school facilities

• Mop, vacuum, and wax floors regularly

• Ensure security of school buildings

• Assist with snow and ice removal when needed

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong relationship-building skills with students and staff

• Experience handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Physical fitness for lifting and extended standing

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
