Position: Full-Time Caretaker Polytechnic
Become a Caretaker at Lethbridge Polytechnic in this 40-hour per week temporary role. Focus on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas of the facility.

As a Caretaker from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, you will perform vital cleaning tasks including floor, carpet, and washroom care. This position involves using cleaning equipment and requires both independent initiative and teamwork. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all spaces remain welcoming and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute thorough floor and washroom care tasks

• Clean classrooms, laboratories, and office spaces

• Operate various types of caretaking equipment

• Participate in moving furniture as required

• Maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements:

• Basic experience in caretaking or janitorial work

• Good verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physically capable of performing duties

• Comfort working at heights above 5 feet
