Regular Caretaker Assistant -DAF & WRM

Horizon School Division is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker Assistant to join our team at D.A. Ferguson and W.R. Myers. This shared position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The position commences as soon as possible.

This is a full-time split-shift position, working mornings from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and afternoons 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the school, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting classrooms, hallways, and common areas on a daily basis.

Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently. Previous custodial or maintenance experience is an asset but not required. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and commitment to safety are mandatory.
