Overview

We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team to work from India. The role suits a professional with a proven track record of exceptional communication and technical skills in the assurance practice, primarily on compilations.

This position offers an opportunity to move to India for one to two years and to support a diverse group of engagement teams across the globe.

The CRC Senior Manager will assist the enterprise and ECS business units and the CRC Champions network with monthly reporting and budget modelling to manage CRC objectives and KPIs. A primary responsibility is to provide direct support and guidance to offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC on their compilations work. The focus is to support engagement teams on compilations and to formalize processes and policies for Risk Management and regulatory compliance.

What

You Will Do
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in collaboration with the CRC national management team.
  • Provide direct support to enterprise and ECS engagement teams to leverage the Assurance CRC on engagements.
  • Oversee the QMCI team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and overseeing implementation of solutions to ensure high audit quality and deliverables.
  • Prepare training materials, how-tos, monthly/quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal.
  • Leverage firm processes and programs to actively support the business.
  • Oversee usage of One Port (intake portal) and update intake processes as new services are developed; test updated processes to ensure they operate as designed.
  • Provide support to geographic business units to achieve CRC objectives and prepare monthly reporting packages for senior leadership, including financial results and commentary on hours results and trends.
  • Oversee controls to ensure they operate effectively throughout the year and that reporting timelines are met; ensure services provided by the CRC team are approved prior to deployment to ensure high quality.
  • Travel internationally as required and obtain necessary visas/work permits for India; adjust work hours to allow overlap with offshore teams as a critical success factor.
What You Bring To

The Role
  • Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience with an enterprise or ECS practice, including at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Senior Manager or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.
  • Minimum 5 years compilation and team management experience.
  • Strong technical assurance skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; capable of overseeing teams of 100+ individuals.
  • Bi-lingual in French and English is an asset; strong written and verbal English communication skills required.
  • Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Advanced MS Office and Adobe products (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, Outlook, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel internationally and obtain requisite visas/work permits for India.
Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The final salary is based on location, skills, competencies, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
