Construction Manufacturing Manager

Select People Solutions is looking for a Construction Manufacturing Manager. Successful candidates will be managing day-to-day production activities, monitor quality and timelines, and keep crews and workflows moving safely and efficiently. Position Summary:

• Plan production processes to ensure goals and objectives are met
• Provide problem solving support and troubleshooting as needed during production shift
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure all materials and equipment are available and functioning correctly
• Ensure all company and provincial safety requirements are met and introduce suggestions for streamlining and continuous improvement of safety programs
• Support all departments to ensure a collective achievement of goals
• Work with management team to lead and develop professionals through their performance and developmental plans
• Complete all reporting needed at the end of shifts, and ensure they are filled quickly and accurately

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in construction
• Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or related
• 3-5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Must be a proven leader with examples of how they have developed a team to organizational success

Bonus Points For:

• Certification in Project Management
• Experience working and managing within a union environment
• Journeyman Certification in Carpentry or Electrical trades
• Experience in modular construction
