Select People Solutions is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead operations for our client within a unionized modular home manufacturing facility. This hands‑on leadership role oversees daily production activities and works closely with unionized employees while optimizing production schedules and workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate brings modular construction experience, strong leadership capability, and familiarity with unionized environments.

Hours:
- The rate of pay will be $75-80K/year
- Monday through Friday
- Oversee daily production operations to meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality targets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of new processes and programs
- Supervise workforce activities including training, performance management, attendance, and labour relations matters
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and facility readiness to maintain efficient operations
- Lead and develop team members, supporting performance growth aligned with organizational goals
- Maintain accurate reporting and ensure compliance with company policies, safety, quality, and HR standards
- Post‑secondary education in leadership, supervision, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in construction with exposure to production/manufacturing environments
- Must be Journeyman Electrician, Plumber or Carpenter
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and safety standards, with the ability to support internal programs
- Experience participating in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization, or similar)
- Ability to effectively supervise and engage a unionized workforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong working knowledge of Excel
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and deliver results through teams
- Experience in steel fabrication, modular, or structural building manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP or production scheduling systems
- Supervisory or safety certifications (e.g., COR, OH&S training, First Aid, or leadership training)
- Track record of improving productivity, reducing waste, or implementing process efficiencies
