Sanitation Technician

Position: Sanitation Technician at Lamb Weston
Location: Taber

Work with Lamb Weston as a Sanitation Technician in Taber, Alberta, focusing on safety and cleanliness during 12-hour shifts. This role is crucial in maintaining facility hygiene.

As a Sanitation II, your work will involve using specialized equipment to ensure every corner of the production area is sanitized. You’ll partake in essential safety trainings while also reporting any operational issues. This position emphasizes collaboration and effective communication within the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out sanitation duties with high attention to detail

• Operate cleaning equipment, including high-pressure hoses

• Complete all required training and documentation accurately

• Notify team leaders about any equipment malfunctions

• Collaborate with other team members to support cleanliness

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Preferably one year of related work experience

• Completion of WHMIS Certification to be provided by the company

• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends

• Understanding of sanitation chemicals and PPE usage
