Watch Parts CNC Machinist Position

Join Novo, a leader in luxury watchmaking, as a Watch Parts CNC Machinist in Lethbridge, Alberta. Machine high-precision parts using the NS CNC Elara 2, focusing on detail and craftsmanship.

Novo is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist dedicated to producing intricate components for mechanical watches. This is a temporary 1-month role with potential for full-time work. Candidates should be skilled in small part machining and familiar with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM for toolpath generation, ensuring strict quality standards and excellent finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate the NS CNC Elara 2 for precision work

• Generate optimized toolpaths in Fusion 360 CAM

• Machining of miniature components to high standards

• Maintain accuracy in tolerances during production

• Engage in design refinements using CAD/CAM software

Requirements:

• Experience in watchmaking, jewelry, or micro-machining

• Strong skills in Autodesk Fusion 360 for CNC programming

• Experience with desktop CNC mills;
Elara 2 is a plus

• Self-motivated with the ability to meet quality standards

• On-site work in Lethbridge, Alberta required
