Elevate mainframe performance monitoring with a leading financial client. As a Mainframe Infrastructure Metrics Engineer, you will ensure efficient, real-time performance and capacity management across critical workloads.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust 10+ years of hands-on mainframe systems experience, leveraging skills in data analysis, performance optimization, and incident prevention. You will monitor system health and resolve anomalies utilizing tools such as RMF and Smart

IS, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to guide decision-making and optimize resources for mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor real-time z/OS system health and performance

• Analyze data to identify trends and bottlenecks

• Develop performance tuning strategies for efficiency

• Generate reports and dashboards with key performance indicators

• Participate in migration of tooling to Dev Ops

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

• 10+ years in mainframe performance management

• Proficiency in REXX/Python and Job Control Language

• Strong analytical and visualization skills

• Experience with mainframe monitoring tools
