Hatchery Worker at Sunrise Chick Sales

This position requires a dedicated individual committed to health and safety. As a Hatchery Production Worker, you will maintain high standards of sanitation, manage egg transfers, and assist in the removal of chicks. You will also engage in after-hours checks and help with equipment maintenance when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect hatchery equipment effectively

• Box and transfer eggs between setters and hatchers

• Handle day-old chicks and assist with culling

• Support general cleaning and equipment setup

• Follow stringent safety rules and guidelines

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent preferred

• Experience in agriculture is an asset

• Strong commitment to health and safety

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly

• Must possess a valid Canadian Work Permit
