Select People Solutions is partnering with our client to recruit a mechanically inclined and customer-focused Hydraulic Hose Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and providing quality service to customers in an industrial or agricultural environment.

Hours:

The rate of pay will be $22–$28/hr, depending on experience

Full-time position, temporary position

Position Summary:

Assemble and repair hydraulic hoses and fittings to customer specifications

Identify, measure, and recommend the appropriate hydraulic components for repairs and replacements

Assist customers in person and over the phone with product inquiries and technical solutions

Inspect hoses, fittings, and related components for wear or damage

Operate hose crimping equipment and other shop tools safely and efficiently

Maintain accurate inventory of hydraulic products and shop supplies

Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Support general shop operations and assist with additional duties as required

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in hydraulic hose assembly, industrial parts, mechanical service, or a related field

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to read measurements and identify hydraulic fittings and components

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Comfortable using computers for order entry and inventory lookups

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment

Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Bonus Points For:

Experience operating a hydraulic hose crimper

Background in agriculture, heavy equipment, construction, or industrial equipment

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders, and fluid power components
