Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paint Line Operator to join our team at Adora Kitchens Ltd. in Coaldale. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our cabinetry products meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation:Set up, operate, and monitor an automated paint line.
- Paint Preparation:Measure, mix, and prepare paints and coatings according to specific formulas and work orders.
- Quality Control:Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and consistency. Make necessary adjustments to equipment for proper finish.
- Maintenance:Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on paint line equipment.
- Safety & Hygiene:Enforce and follow safety procedures and guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Record Keeping:Keep accurate records of production output, paint usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Material Management:Check materials for defects and ensure sufficient inventory is available.
Skills & Requirements
- Technical Proficiency:Experience operating industrial machinery or automated equipment.
- Quality Focus:Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Manual Dexterity:Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Problem-Solving:Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose basic equipment issues.
- Safety Mindset:A strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
- Communication:Effective oral and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and supervisors.
- Basic Skills:Basic math and measurement skills are often required for paint mixing.
