- Food & Beverage
:
Process equipment design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance. - Industrial
:
Structural steel (fabrication & erection), material handling (product conveyance), and millwrighting services. - Ag & Oil/Gas
:
Mobile equipment design/manufacturing and processing facilities. - Specialized Services
:
Industrial plumbing, process piping, and CNC/General machining.

- Technical Skill:
Experience with fabrication (Stainless, Aluminum, Carbon steel) and forming equipment (Brake, Shear, Plate Rollers) is preferred. - Detail Oriented: You can read/interpret blueprints and have a passion for high-quality, custom fabricated, metal components.

- Welding Processes: Perform SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welds to specification.
- Compliance: Adhere to all C&A, Provincial, and Prime Contractor health and safety regulations.
- Technical Execution: Read blueprints, identify materials and parts from bills of material, fit complex weldments and determine welding procedures to minimize distortion.
- Mathematics
:
Apply knowledge of fractions, measuring, and geometry.
- Journey persons: Must possess an Alberta Welding Certificate or Inter-Provincial Red Seal.
- Apprentices: Must possess a High School Diploma.
- Certifications: Ability to pass CWB welding tests.
- Driver’s License: Candidates with a valid Class 5 license and clean 3 year driving abstract are strongly preferred.
