Location: Fort Macleod
Forma Steel specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel roofing,siding, trim, and custom panels in a wide range of gauges, colors, and finishes. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB, approximately 25minutes West of Lethbridge.
We are currently looking to fill the following position in our Fort Macleod Facility
Production Supervisor (Night Shift)Schedule:
Monday-Thursday Scope
The Night Shift Production Supervisor willbe responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations on the floor, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time completion of steel trim androllformed products during the night shift.

- Supervise and coordinate production staff and activities related to steel trim fabrication androllforming.
- Monitor daily production schedules and adjust resources to meet output, quality, and delivery goals.
- Ensure all employees follow safety protocols and production standards in accordance with company policy andOH&S regulations.
- Train, coach, and evaluate production workers to promote skill development, productivity, and accountability.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
- Communicate with other departments including maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and time tracking.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and consumables and communicate replenishment needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to process optimization, equipment utilization, and lean manufacturing.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory leadership experience
- Experience with steel fabrication, roll forming and metal handling equipment
- Lean and continuous improvement knowledge
- Strong communication skills,verbally and written
- Highly organized and able to prioritize workload
- Interpersonal skills andability to work well with a variety of individuals
- Leadership ability
- Excellent Problem solving and decision making ability
- Computer program use for production software, spreadsheets, and manufacturing reporting tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and production work orders.
