Build custom wall panels and trusses at Structural Truss Systems in Fort Macleod, using hand tools, power tools, and layout designs. This permanent position offers a flexible schedule.
Structural Truss Systems hires high school or university students for its truss plant. As a Builder and General Labourer, you will assemble walls accurately for residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. The work includes inspecting lumber, maintaining workstations, and following health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble walls according to layouts and instructions
- Inspect pre-cut lumber for quality and accuracy
- Use hand and power tools during builds
- Maintain clean, organized workstations
- Report tool or machine issues
- High school or university student status
- Ability to read truss layout designs
- Basic hand and power tool experience
- Basic math and measuring tape skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly
