RoleSummary
We are seeking motivated and detail‑oriented Summer Students to support our office team during the summer term. Students will gain hands‑on experience in a professional environment while contributing to real projects in either Marketing or Information Technology (IT). This is an excellent opportunity to build practical skills, learn from experienced professionals, and explore a potential career path.
Key Responsibilities – Marketing Summer Student- Assist with the creation and updating of marketing materials (digital and print)
- Support social media content
- Help maintain website content and marketing databases
- Conduct market research and compile findings
- Assist with event planning, promotions, or campaigns as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team
- Provide basic technical support to staff (hardware, software, and account issues)
- Assist with setting up and maintaining computers and office technology
- Help document IT processes, procedures, and inventories
- Support routine system updates, testing, or troubleshooting
- Assist with data entry, reporting, or simple scripting tasks (where applicable)
- Perform general administrative duties within the IT department
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred)
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace)
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Real‑world office and industry experience
- Mentorship and exposure to professional workflows
- Skill development relevant to future careers
